Exponent Rules
This video discusses what exponents are and the rules for raising products (two numbers or variables multiplied together) and quotients (fractions) to an exponent. Examples of the rules being applied are provided, and the logical basis for the rules is explained and demonstrated.
Product Rule for Derivatives
In this video, I demonstrate the product rule for taking the derivative of two functions multiplied together—one of the most essential skills of basic calculus. I work through two simple examples and provide a conceptual basis for the rule.
